Government employees Terminated without prior notice

Sir I am a rajasthan government employee in health department working as pharmacist. ..I along with 34 other female pharmacists have been terminated suddenly and with immediate effect on 22/09/2016 (under the order from directorate medical and health department dated 19/09/2016). In these 34 candidates 20 are in their probation period of 2 years (completed 19 months)and rest have been fixed and are working from 4 years. Reason for termination was mentioned as a vertical female reservation should have been applied on the time of joining which was wrongly horizontally applied so instead of 221 girls 254 girls have been selected and given joining. Now (254-221=34) female candidates are terminated and instead 34 male candidates are selected. Against this action we have filled civil writ and a stay order is granted on 28/09/2016, which were submitted to directorate on 30/09/2016. Director has given verbal instructions to us and (respective CMHO's under whom we are working)to go and join the duty from the same day ...Some CMHO followed the verbal instructions and some denied and asked for the written order from the directorate from us to allow us to rejoin the duty. Written order from directorate are now generated on 17/10/2016. We those who were not allowed to join earlier are now given joining. But now the problem is the period from 19/09/16 to 17/10/16 will be considered as gap between job. ...which may cause break in service and may affect our probation period (which is of 24 months). What should be done of this course of time . As its directorate fault that why they didn't given joining orders immediately if stay orders were submitted to them on 30/9/16. In making a joining order they have wasted 17 days.
