Name change in certificates

1 It is customary in our region not to add the father’s and Mother’s Name along with the child name but , the same may be mentioned at the separate column were Father’s or Mother’s Name is given as, in case of Indian Passport. 2 Therefore, Father’s Name was not added to my middle name in my Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Certificate , issued by Mumbai Divisional Board and accordingly, it was not added to my Three years degree Certificate (Graduation Certificate) issued by Institute of Distance and open Learning ,University of Mumbai 3.My Mother's first name was used along with my name in my Three years degree Certificate issued by Institute of Distance and open Learning, University of Mumbai as the same was Mandatory to add in the computer based application form of the Institute of Distance and open Learning ,University of Mumbai for its Three years degree course but, since there was no separate column for Mother’s Name therefore, Mother’s first name was mentioned along with my Name . Now Here the question arises that whether is it possible to delete Mother's name in my Degree certificate if yes then what is the procedure.? Right now I am their in final year. My Mother's name was not added in 12 standard certificate in separte coulmn for the same , whether is it possible to add now ? I passed my 12 in 2008 from Maharashtra state board
