Domestic violance

This is Aditya from West Bengal. I want to ask about my sister’s case.she is a victim of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.My sister got married in the year 2013 according to hindu rightes & custom.After a few months of living in her matrimonial house,my sistster's husband and his family members started giving mental and physical torture,demanding dowry,and abusing.she was beaten many times and due to such brutal physical torture even at the time of pragnancy ,she has lost her baby in the whoom twice. for the first time when she was beaten and was admitted to the nearest hospital, My parents took her to her patrimonial house from the hospital..thereafter my sister’s husband filed a MAIT SUIT CASE upon my sister and after around 2 years she went to her matrimonial house when my sister’s husband agreed before the judge that he would not do torture on my sister in future..But again they did the same even worse than that. They again gave a brutal physical torture and driven her out at pragnant condition from the house when we went to meet her..Since then she is with us. Her medical treatment is carried on .we narrated the whole matter to our advocate and he has filed the case against my sisters husband of an application u/s 156(3) of the cr pc in regard to the offence committed u/s 498A / 315 / 323 / 125 / 34 IPC.. My lawyer has said that he would punish everyone of them according to the law. But the matter is that NO strong action has been taken by my advocate and neither by court nor the local police station where the case has been registered. we are in doubt that my lawyer and the local police has been given bribe to close the case by my sister’s husband because whenever we go to the court, my advocate is taking the next date and says that the judge is not present or make some other excuses.Maintanance case is yet pending .No decision has come for maintenance yet. and now he has removed 315 case without informing us and now my lawyer is telling that he would file a DIVORCE CASE WITH MAINTANANCE and thus he will be punished sure... Now we are totally confused that what should be done.? Should we file the divorce case with maintenance? We had full faith in my lawyer but now he seems to be doubtful. I, therefore kindly requesting you to tell us what is right or wrong. Do you see any progress in the case? What should be done from now? How we can check our lawyer whether he is involved or not? I hope you would give your needful suggestion as soon as possible..i shall be obliged to you if you pay your kind attention towards my sister’s case.. Looking forward to your immediate response………………
