Legal Advice on Rights in Redevelopment Property

Dear Lawyer's, I have been living with my family (including my father and mother) in my grandfather’s room for the past 36 years. My grandfather and grandmother passed away in 2006. My father has two sisters and two brothers, but they did not take care of my grandparents. Instead, my parents were the ones who looked after them. Unfortunately, my father’s siblings have always been indifferent towards us and are primarily concerned with financial matters. Now, our building is going for redevelopment. Given our long-term residence and care for my grandparents, I would like to understand our legal rights regarding the following: Rent Compensation – Are we entitled to receive rent during the redevelopment period? Possession of the Redeveloped Flat – Will my father or I have the legal right to claim possession of the new flat? Corpus Fund – Are we eligible to receive a share of the corpus fund provided by the builder? I would appreciate your legal guidance on our rights and the best course of action in this situation. Looking forward to your advice. Best regards, A
