Bamboo tree leaves of bamboo trees planted by neighbour obstructing natural light in my rooms

Our next door neighbour has planted bamboo trees in clusters all around his house. The trees have grown high and their thick canopy of leaves is obstructing natural light to my rooms facing their compound. The trees planted in the front is obstructing the view from my hall. Earlier I could see upto the end of the street sitting from my chair. Now I have to get up to see who has come to my gate. I cannot see anything beyond my gate now. When I complained to him, he said he would eventually cut them to compound wall height. But he has not adhered to it. What is my remedy to secure my right to natural light and also view from my windows. I have to switch on my lights in my rooms the whole day. Another neighbour's coconut tree is overhanging over our garage. Fronds, tree flowers, dry pieces of fronds, young coconuts fall regularly on our garage that has a metal roof causing a loud thud everytime they fall. The heavier ones have caused a few dents on the garage and created small gaps between the joints of the metal sheets through which rain water drips during the rainy season. I have to employ s person to clean all these especially before the rainy season to avoid water accumulation on top of the garage. Despite repeated requests and sending him photos of the dents and debris accumulation on top, he is refusing to either cut or relocate the coconut tree in his compound. What remedies do I have to overcome this nuisance.
