Mental harrasment from mother in law

I am married for last 8 months. I stayed around 4 months with my in laws and husband. My mother in law started creating problems regarding cleaning of the house. She started complaining to my mother on phone that your daughter doesnt do any work. I am a working lady and doing job and household chores is very busy for me. Later, during my husband's absence she came twice one in one and started shouting and arguing for cleanliness and said many other hurtful things as well which later denied. I tried taking with father in law regarding this but didnt get any proper support. I gave the solution of hiring maid but they including my husband are not agreeing for it. She and husband started arguing with me when I confronted this with father in law. And this arguement has happened when I am pregnant. The mother in law has poisoned my husband's mind and he too fights with me for my inadequacy in doing household chores. But he is not so keen in giving divorce or stay separate. He too time and again argued with my mom complaining about me knowing that she is a heart pateint.
