Slight dent due to parking constraint
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your kind attention a matter of grave concern that has been affecting my well-being and causing significant distress to my family and professional life.
On [18th November 2024], while returning from work at Yashoda Hospital, I was attempting to park my car near my residence Due to the narrowness of the colony road, I decided to reverse park my car. Unfortunately, I accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, causing my car to hit the granite stones in front of my house. This incident resulted in damage to my car.
To avoid obstructing traffic, I attempted to reverse park my car closer to our house. Due to the misalignment caused by the initial damage, my car inadvertently came into contact with a parked car, resulting in a slight crack in the tail lamp of the parked vehicle.
While I was still sitting in my car, the owners of the parked car, Mr. Shravan and Mrs. Neha, approached me and began to aggressively bang on my front window. They verbally abused me using foul language and prevented me from leaving my car to seek assistance for approximately three minutes.
Eventually, I managed to get out of my car and was attempting to contact my husband for help when my mother-in-law arrived and attempted to defuse the situation with Mr. Shravan and Mrs. Neha. However, instead of explaining the situation, Mr. Shravan was disrespectful and rude to my mother-in-law.
My husband and I subsequently returned to the scene to move my car to our designated parking spot. After my husband spoke to them, they remained quiet and dispersed.
However, later that evening around 10:00 pm, Mr. Shravan and Mrs. Neha returned to our residence and violently shook our house gates. They demanded an immediate online payment of Rs. 18,000/- and verbally abused both me and my mother-in-law.
My husband came out to address the situation, at which point Mr. Shravan threatened to file an SC atrocity case against me if I did not pay immediately.
Mr. Shravan and Mrs. Neha filed a complaint against me, and the investigating officer arrived at our residence to gather information. There is evidence of verbal abuse directed towards me, but no evidence of any abuse on my part. Mr. Shravan was particularly abusive towards me, and his wife and mother-in-law supported his actions. Mr. Shravan's mother-in-law also verbally abused me and attempted to physically assault me.
Since this incident, I have been continuously subjected to mental harassment for a simple parking mishap that resulted in a minor crack to a tail lamp. On December 24th, 2024, I received an anonymous call at my office landline, falsely accusing me of cybercrime. This call was received by a colleague who informed me of its content after my return from rounds.
I have been receiving harassing calls on a daily basis. As a married woman with family responsibilities, this
