Complaint filed to registrar for missing out on Audit & AGM dates.
Dear Sir,
Our Managing Committee which was formed in 2023 for 5 years of tenure has missed the deadline of conducting Audit and AGM before Sep 30 due to various issues in office bearers family incl medical, illness and marriages. One of our resident who works for housing federation knowing all the laws has intentionally raised a complaint against managing committee to the registrar office for non functionality under sections 75 for asking disqualification of managing committee for 5yrs. later we received a letter from registrar about a hearing call to listen our side with proper documents but registrar has not mentioned any section in his letter. however during all this process we have already completed our Audit and going to conduct AGM soon. i would like to know
1) what are consequences of such letter from Registrar? will take any action like disqualification of the committee or he will give another chance as we have completed the AGM.
2) should also take our Lawyer on the day of first hearing to represent our side?
