Regarding Delayed Salary Payment

Despite multiple assurances, my employer has yet to clear my pending salary for September 2024, and I am uncertain about the next steps. Here’s a summary of the situation: 1. Background: My salary for September 2024, which was due in October, has not yet been paid. While I was on a pre-approved holiday, I unfortunately met with an accident. Upon notifying my employer, they cited my indefinite return date as the reason for withholding my payment. 2. Supporting Documentation: Once I resumed work, I promptly sent an email with a detailed explanation of my situation, along with my medical certificates, requesting the release of my dues. 3. Assurances from HR: The HR Manager initially assured me via email that my pending salary would be paid by the end of October 2024. However, when I followed up, I was told the payment would be delayed until November 7, along with my October salary. 4. Further Delays: Today, on November 6, I reminded HR about the pending payment, but was informed of yet another delay, with the revised payment date being November 11, 2024. I am growing increasingly concerned as each follow-up has resulted in further delays. I am unsure how to proceed and would appreciate your guidance on how to address this issue legally.
