How to respond to a dissolution of marriage petition filed by my husband from the USA

I am an Indian citizen and my spouse is a USA citizen and our marriage is registered in India. I left my job in India and travelled to USA to be with my husband in Nov 2023 and I haven’t been working/earning since. I filed for divorce in India on 1st August 2024 and the summons were served by the court to my spouse in USA as well as his Indian vacation home and both were recieved. About a month later, on 5th October, I receive a summons for dissolution of marriage, that had been filed my husband in USA, through a random person who, upon asking, claimed to be a friend of my husband’s family, and this person was also recording on the phone when I opened the door. The summons recieved were a photocopy, not notarised or stamped by the court. It just had a stamp of the lawyer who filed it. The summons were filed on 27th September and I received it on 5th October. The summons mentioned to respond within 30 days by filing a proper legal response with the court clerk and paying the fee. I am in India, I cannot travel to USA or afford to hire a legal aid to respond to these summons and I am not sure of the procedure to do so and I am unable to understand the legality/ repercussions of the summons. Kindly help on how to respond to this, if at all, and what I need to do next
