Formal Complaint Regarding Family Issues and Coercion
Dear Advocate,
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding ongoing issues within my family that I believe constitute coercion and undue pressure. Specifically, I am facing demands of Vadhu Dakshine for son, money, a car, and property, which are being presented as conditions for maintaining familial relationships, particularly in relation to my wife.
I feel that this situation resembles a form of blackmail, as my family members, particularly my brother in law and wife , have been involved in taking money from me under duress. I would like to outline a couple of specific incidents that illustrate the severity of the situation:
1. My wife informed her brother that my elderly father was distributing his salary equally among his children, that is my brother, myself and sister, which led to her brother demanding money from my brother's wife. This demand was made under pressure, and the money was taken without proper consent.
2. During a family event at my wife’s uncle’s house, my wife, her elder sister-in-law, and her daughter took my son without my or my wife’s permission. This action was taken without any prior notice, leaving me in shock and distress. Despite my attempts to address this with the police, I was informed that I needed to provide evidence, which I am currently unable to obtain.
I seek your guidance on how to address these issues legally and protect myself and my family from further coercion and manipulation.
