Understanding 498A Case Status

A 498A FIR was filed in Bangalore in March 2024. By July, the police had completed their investigation and indicated that a final report would be submitted to the court. When I inquired about the case status, I was advised to show the letter to my lawyer. My understanding is that a final report often means no offense was found, but my lawyer did not provide a clear explanation. Recently, I checked the eCourt services app using the FIR number and found two case numbers linked to this 498A case. One case number indicates a transfer to a specific court, with the stage marked as "summon" and a first hearing scheduled for October 22nd, although I have not received any summons yet. The case history shows that an earlier summons was issued, revoked, and disposed of on the same day, possibly leading to the case's transfer to another court. The second case number shows no details regarding the stage or hearing dates.
