RWA forcing me to buy car sticker to enter in the society
Hello, I am a resident/ owner of Flat purchased from the BPTP, After passage of time, RWA has been framed by the resident of flats owner, but society/flats not handed over by the BPTP and BPTP issuing BPM bills on monthly basis. One iron gate provided by the BPTP at the time of occupancy of flats and use for entry and exits.
Now RWA installed the automatic boom barrier just 3-4 foots away from the gate and forcing us to pay for the car sticker and for entry in the society/flats. When I denied to pay, they fixed the board on the gate “open automatic boom barrier yourself and close too. Even Security guard also appointed by the RWA and I paid the security guard dues as raised by the RWA at that time and RWA also instructed the guard to not operate the boom barrier for them who denied to pay. Currently I resigned from the membership of the society.
My questions are - 1) Is it mandatory to be RWA member as an owner of a flat purchased from the builder? I do not wish to take part in general body elections and am duly paying the maintenance fee which is required to run the society. 2) How can they force me to either become a member of RWA by paying a fee or pay Rs. 1150 - for car sticker 4) What can I do if they stop my car from entering the building? Can I call the police? Although it looks like a trivial issue, I am under tremendous mental harassment. Please help me. Thanks, Rakesh
