Salary Hold without Termination and not providing valid reason on written.
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the unlawful and unethical treatment I have recently experienced with my employer, Learning Saint Pvt Ltd.
Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) Misuse: On the 4th of September 2024, I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), which ended on the 16th of September 2024. Despite this, I was allowed to continue working until the 6th of October 2024, with no indication of further issues or changes to my employment status. However, on that same day, without any prior notice, I was abruptly asked to leave.
Unreasonable Conditions: Following this, I was offered another PIP, which was made contingent on my achieving certain targets. I was informed that if I failed to meet these targets, my salary would be withheld, which I believe to be an illegal and unethical practice. Additionally, they insisted that I sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before they would process my Full and Final (F&F) settlement. When I requested this in writing, they refused.
Physical Harassment and Abuse: On the 9th of October 2024, I attended a meeting at the company to discuss these issues. During this meeting, between 6:25 PM and 6:40 PM, the CEO(Abhishek Sharma) of the organization entered the room and, in an unprovoked manner, physically assaulted me by grabbing the collar of my shirt, which was torn in the process. I was also subjected to verbal abuse and threats, which I believe constitutes workplace harassment.
I am deeply distressed by the actions of my employer and believe that their conduct has violated my rights as an employee. I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. I am prepared to provide further documentation and evidence to support my claims, should it be necessary.
