Legal Assistance Required for Recovery of Security Deposit and GST Compliance Issues

Dear All, We were tenants at a co-working space, Worktown, for a period of 10 months. Unfortunately, we were asked to vacate the premises without any prior notice, as the landlord had secured a larger corporate tenant. As per our agreement, a three-month notice period was required, which was not honored by the landlord. In addition to this, we have faced consistent issues with the landlord’s non-compliance regarding GST payments. Despite paying GST along with our rent, the landlord has defaulted on forwarding these payments, making it impossible for us to claim our Input Tax Credit (ITC). Furthermore, the landlord owes us a security deposit of INR 30,000, equivalent to two months' rent. Despite repeated visits and phone calls, he has not responded to our requests for repayment. Given these circumstances, we would appreciate your guidance on how to initiate appropriate legal action against the landlord. We seek to recover our security deposit, address the GST payment defaults, and ensure our rights as tenants are upheld. Thank you for your assistance. We look forward to your advice on the next steps. In
