In the month of June last year, I got engaged (ROKA) with a boy. Boy from Uttrakhand. He has done BTech and doing Job as work from home and according to his Family he wanted to crack GATE exam.. Both the family met through Jeevan Sathi and they make a call and after sharing the biodata, horoscope and photos, I am not ready but after insisting my family to meet once some where both the families decided to meet in some restaurant. After three-four days past boy family call us and asked the result and also requested that horoscopes were matched and we shall continue relation. After discussion both the family were ready and with the consultation of Panditji the ROKA ceremony was held in the month of June 2023.The ROKA ceremony was held in Uttrakhand (UK) with the telephonic and personal meetings of two families. As decided the venue expenditure for ROKA ceremony was equally divided and the gifts was also exchanged but and discussed with the boy father, my parents offer cash to the boy alongwith envelops for boy family and relatives. When girls family coming back to home boy father make a call and said that two more envelops are required of Rs.2100 and Rs.1001 for boy relatives. Please transfer the amount within 10-20 minutes. The same was done by the father of the girl. Both the families conversation start properly for further dates i.e. date fix for ring and marriage, all the things were moving smoothly and the dates were fixed in the month of January, 2024, the boy family insist us to book the marriage venue first, but whenever the boy family visited in my home always asked us to do this and that on Ring Ceremony i.e. Rs.1,00,000/- cash for house hold items and Rs. 2,51,000/- as Tilak of boy verbally (no recording of such demand we have), which create trouble for girl family. Whenever boy family visited always asked to do this and that means asking for Car and some amount of purchase of flat. All this were happened when the date of ring ceremony come closer. We have already distributed the marriage and other functions card to our near and dears. When we are not ready to fullfill the demands, the boy family were silent searching some issue to cancel the marriage.Boy mother said to the girl that you have to buy purse and sandal from my side you submit the bill and I will pay for these two items. Girl said OK mummyji I will share the QRCode for payment of sandal and purse. Boy mother highlight this and boy make a call to girl and scolded her and said how dare to said this to my mother that I will share the QRCode, you and your family are very cheap. Hello! Please don’t use these words for my family. Next day boy mother make a phone call and said that the marriage is cancelled now from our side, I have already communicated this to my near and dears. This was done before four days of ring ceremony and 14 days before marriage date. We have booked all the venues i.e. banquet
