Settlement Deed by Grandfather to his Son ,will the grandson has the right to claim his share
My grandfather has made a settlement deed to his son (ie,my father ) and does the son (myself ) have any rights to claim the share of property like my younger ones .
The part of property was to be given to me as per the verbal surety given by my grandfather, unfortunately the part which I had to recieve was sold for the wedding purpose of my sister for 56 lakhs and some how during the transaction I had recieved Rs 18 lakhs and my father has been asking me to write and sign on a paper that I have rec'd Rs 18 lakhs and try here is nothing more that I expect from the family share and I didn't sign it.
The balance amount was utilised for the wedding and their other expenses.
The balance area of the property holds a house and 25 cents which can cover the balance of my share out of other siblings (younger sister and brother).
The house and surrounded area is for him and my sister was well gifted with gold with the balance amount of the property sold for her wedding and Iam the only one left with bits of 18 lakhs and my father doesn't inted to part the share.
Do I have any rights / claim over the property share and how do I make sure that the property is equally shared among the 3 siblings.
