Govt job exam 1 marks wrongly deducted

1. The AAI ATC Advertisement No. 05/2023 announced 496 positions, with the exam held on December 27, 2023 , across three shifts. I appeared for the exam in Shift 1 2. The answer key was released on December 30, 2023 , allowing candidates to raise objections. 3. However, AAI did not release a revised answer key and instead directly published the list of candidates selected for the medical and voice tests, along with individual marks on February 20, 2024 . In this result, I received 94 raw marks and 99.82 normalized marks 4. Following the medical and voice tests, AAI released the final list of 479 selected candidates on May 13, 2024 . The cutoff for the OBC category was 100 marks , meaning I did not 5. Nilesh Chaudhary, who appeared in the same shift and also scored 94 raw marks and 99.82 normalized marks , filed an RTI to obtain his revised answer key after objections. 6. He discovered that 1 mark was wrongly deducted for a question where his answer was correct. Nilesh subsequently filed a writ in the Delhi High Court and won the case on September 4, 2024 . The court ordered AAI to increase his score by 1 marks 7. I also selected the same answer as Nilesh Chaudhary for that question. I have applied for an RTI to get my final revised answer key and am currently waiting for a response. 8. I now have two queries regarding this situation: a. Can I file a writ based on Nilesh Chaudhary's case as I am waiting for my RTI response assuming I may have also lost 1 mark for the same question? It seems highly unlikely that only one candidate faced this error while others were awarded marks correctly. b. What happens if AAI releases the final result before my RTI response? Will I still be able to claim my post in case the same error occurred with my result?
