Transfer of khata from parents to daughters - both livivng abroad
Here is our situation:
Dad passed away intestate decades ago. Mom passed away few months ago, leaving a will leaving property to both daughters equally. This Will was drawn a plain paper and notarized abroad (not on stamp paper), but not registered yet in India. Got a Family tree made and notarized in the US
all people contacted at BangaloreOne, BBMP, Sub Registrar's office, Tahsildar's office and agents want to have Aadhaar to move forward. We are not entitled to Aadhaar card as we are not residents in India. Being advised to
1. get new family tree per Nadakacheri format and digital one.
2. not show any will at all to smoothen process
3. All submissions to be done digitally, which requires one to have Aadhaar #.
4. For offline process, (suggested by agents) being asked to pay large amount with no guarantee of work getting done smoothly.
How should one go about it?
I have looked at Seva Sindhu, Kaveri online 2.0, Nadakacheri, sakala, eaasthi, e-khata websites, and all of them need AADHAAR to even login into with OTP.
Not friendly for NRIs and Foreign nationals with OCI
Please advise.
