Legal Advice Needed: Employer Not Providing Offer Letter, Employment Agreement, or Salary After Joining
Hello,
I joined a company on August 5th, 2024, but I have not received my offer letter, appointment letter, or a copy of the employment agreement. I was asked to sign the employment agreement, but the company did not provide me with a copy of it, either digitally or physically. It has been over a month since I started working, and these documents are still pending. Additionally, I'm concerned that they may refuse to acknowledge me as their employee and might not pay my salary.
However, I do have evidence to prove my employment with the company, such as:
- Official email with company's domain
- Emails sent from the company’s official email ID.
- Leave information email I sent to my manager.
- A SIM card provided by the company for work purposes.
- WhatsApp chats with the company’s HR and clients that I’ve been asked to handle.
What are my legal rights in this situation, and what steps should I take to ensure that I receive these documents and my salary? Is there a legal way to enforce my rights if the company continues to be uncooperative?
Thank you for your guidance.
