Status Quo over the Property
I have purchased an old property built on load bearing of which the slabs and walls of the structure were comman with that of my neighbor as previously, the structure was same and late on it was subdivided. I have my seperate PR card. I intended to demolish my part of the building, but my neighbor objected against this. They filed a suit under Section 38 to obtain an injunction against us. Parallel to these proceedings, as according to the Pre-Monsoon Survey of the Municipal Corporation, the Corporation issued a notice tagging my building as old and dilapidated and directed us to remove the structure within 3 days. Following the order, we started demolishing and most of the structure was demolished and the slabs and walls were also seperated. Following this development, my neighbor approached for an urgent hearing and the court passed a Status Quo order against us. Presently, most of the structural elements were removed and presently the structure may collapse at any time if not demolished step wise. Kindly guide me with my further approach.
