Addressing Board Misconduct and Transparency Issues

The management board of our apartment complex is unregistered, and members are selected rather than elected due to insufficient nominations. After the pandemic lockdown, a new board was formed through this selection process. Initially fair, their approach soon became dictatorial. They ignored member opinions and urgent issues, making decisions unilaterally. Most owners were indifferent, but I couldn't ignore these problems. I raised issues in the society's social media groups and persistently followed up until they were resolved. This persistence seemed to annoy some top officials of the board, leading them to avoid me. However, I can't stay silent when something is wrong. In May, the board's tenure expired, and they called for nominations to form a new board. I submitted my nomination, but when the board published the selected members list, my name was not included. The notice stated, without naming me directly, that my nomination had some issue and would be discussed at the next General Body Meeting (GBM). Despite repeated inquiries, they have not provided any explanation. To my dismay, they formed the new management committee and distributed responsibilities without resolving my issue. The new board includes old members and their favored owners. I have learned from an internal source that the board is trying to implicate me in financial irregularities from a previous board where my wife served as a joint cultural secretary. She resigned long ago and had no involvement in financial matters, which were managed by the secretary, president, and treasurer at that time. Despite her requests for proof of involvement, none has been provided, yet they persist in associating her with the issue. I would like to know if the board's actions are correct. Can they defer the decision on my candidacy to the GBM without justifying it to me? Can they form a new board without resolving my issue? What options do I have when they are not responding to my requests?
