Advise regarding installation of metal roof sheets on the slab above my apartment.
I am writing to seek your professional advice regarding a matter concerning my property.
I am currently facing severe water seepage issues in my flat during rainy seasons. To address this, I have considered to install a temporary steel roof sheet on the slab above my flat. This measure is solely for the purpose of preventing water damage to my property.
I want to ensure that this action is legally permissible and that I am not infringing upon any building codes or regulations. Additionally, I would like to mention that the builder, who has yet to officially handed over the property to the Society, has verbally given their consent for this roof installation work.
Could you please advise me on the legal implications of proceeding with this temporary solution? Are there any permissions or approvals I need to obtain from local authorities or the building society? Or is this work completely ok to proceed with?
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your guidance.
