Bank Accounts Freeze Due To Credit of Own Money Invested Through Unauthorized Share Trading Platform
I joined a Whatsapp Group via Facebook advertisement for share trading and tips. After 1 day of joining the whatsapp group Admin and their associates created one private whatsapp group with me I have been asked to complete the KYC via uploading Aadhar and Bank A/c details. I got one Current account from them in the private whtatsapp group to transfer the money where I invested Rs. 2 Lacs from my ICICI Salary Account and within an hour amount started reflecting on their Goomii mobile app. I started following them and invested money in some of the equities. Now they started pushing me to invest more money i.e. Rs. 20 Lacs or more and started pushing me for the same every day. I felt uncomfortable and raised withdrawal request from their Goomii Mobile App platform in two instalments. I got the money credited in 2 instalments Rs. 2.20 Lacs to my BoB Bank Account which I updated on their mobile app namely Goomii. Now in the month of February 2024 my BoB account got froze (FIR "A") for first credit where I replied to the BoB local branch with all the screenshots of Whatsapp Group and Goomii Mobile App which they have forwarded my reply further to the concerned Cyber Crime Police Station. Later as on May 2024 my ICICI other Accounts also got froze against PAN Number for 2nd credit (FIR "B"). Sudden in the month of May 2024 only. I got a notice to appear to B'lore Cyber Crime within 3 days of receiving the notice. I have visited to my local Cyber Crime Police Station who denied to accepting my complaint as FIR as they are saying you are a beneficiary of the credit and not the sufferer. Hence, they asked me to visit B’lore to the concerned police station only. I visited the Cyber Crime B'lore office for FIR "B" as per notice U/s 41(A) CrPC 1973 received, further I've explained and presented all the proofs to the investigation office that how I got the credit upon questions asked at B’lore Police Station. After hearing and reviewing the proofs I presented, I have been asked to return the money earlier in Cash to the police officer and later when I requested that I don’t have money than they asked me to return the money via NEFT to Complainant account directly. Share the evidence of NEFT with them so they send the NOC to the concerned bank for defreezing the bank account. Upon request that neither my name is mentioned in the FIR by complainant nor I have been mentioned as accused then how come my account got frozen. Investigation Officer replied that you have received fraudulent credit which you must return to the complainant immediately and they are not concerned about my initial 2 lacs. Now I visited another Cryber Crime Police Station for FIR “A” and met Investigation officer, explained him entire scenario for credit amount in my BoB account, presented the proofs. Upon review he asked me to go back and file a FIR in my local Cyber Crime Police Station and send the FIR copy along with all the proofs so to initiate NOC. Pls suggest what to do now?
