My Previous Landlord sent a Legal Notice after 5 Month of Evacuation asking for Claim for Damages

Hi I had left the flat in december 2023, I even had a conversation with him about leaving and also asked for understanding if he can adjust december's rent with security deposit and he agree at that time. I left the flat with all my stuff and at that time when I was leaving owner was present at that time and he didn't anything at that time. I had settled all the bill except for 4 months for maintenance that was exempted because of the loss that I incurred on my bike parked in society parking. [Somebody stole stuff from my Activa - 2-wheeler and broke the locks.] Electricity will was settled and everything was fine at the time of leaving and Flat owners was there and checked it. I even hired a cleaning lady to clean the flat so that owner does not have to bother with it. Now 3 days back he sent a legal notice asking for compensation for 50000 in which he mentioned that "client has incurred the damage repair cost of 34000 which include taps of kitchen and bathrooms badly damaged and tiles of the floor found broken. and also asking for rent of January month 2024 when I left the flat in December 2023. he is also asking for refund deposit back because he mention that we broke the rent deed when he agreed on that at the time of discussion on leaving flat. I don't understand, when he was present at the time of vacating and checked everything and still sent legal notice and asking for compensation. What do I do ? Please help me. I vacate all my stuff in presence of flat owner
