Help regarding late rent payment

Hi All, I am unemployed and looking for a job and been working for service industry before. I was unable to pay the rent for 5 months due to my poor financial condition, however I use to pay timely rent and sometimes extra amount. The landlord considered my situation allowed me to stay. However, the 6 months rent has been consumed through security deposit of mine and I am unable to pay the rent of last month and current month. I have already vacated the property last month, however I was unable to return the keys due to some family issues. Here, before vacating the property, there is a month's notice period and also tenants have to pay one month extra rent as painting charges and damages if any. I don't have money in my account, I am surving on my parents money, so can't ask much help from them, as we are from a poor family. My rent is 5,500 with security deposit of 40,000, however the situation is so bad that I can't even pay rent of one month. Please help and let me know what can be done to pay the 2 months rent. Is there any possibility of the landlord filing a case against me as my 5 months rent will be taken from my security deposit and I have failed to pay 2 months rent, the damage charges and failed to serve the notice period of one month.
