Mother name spelling mistake correction

The first time, I got my passport was in 2005, and never used and expired in 2015. There was some typographical error in my mother's name in my passport, however never applied for correction as at that time no ID proof was there and in all my academic records only my father's name was there so I didn't ask for correction. Now I've applied for a re-issue of my passport and asked to correct the spelling of my mother's name. I've her Aadhar, PAN card, and SBI bank pension passbook as my late father was an X-army man and passed away during the coronavirus pandemic. In all the IDs Aadhar, PAN, SBI Passbook, etc now the spelling is correct. When my mother applied for the pension then her name SHUSHILA DEVI was registered in the Army service book of my father. So we ensure the same name appears in all the IDs of my mother. Now all IDs are correct. I can provide the IDs, however, passport office says "Please note that the following discrepancies have been observed regarding your application: Mother name change call for 2 news paper ,or Gazette and one mother name previous name photo id and 2 new correct spelling mother name photo id with self all original id required. Please book an online enquiry appointment and visit to Regional Passport Office Patna". in my passport, there was a spelling mistake by the passport office which I never asked to correct. Now I can do all except provide ID proof for my mother's old name( with a spelling mistake) which appears on my passport. I lodged a grievance to the passport office, however, the passport office said, to provide the above-mentioned and appear. How to proceed ? Please help. Regards, Amit
