Overlapping of service for 9 days
I resigned from company A on 10th Jan 2024 citing inability to relocate to other cities and health issues because of late night work.All handover process was also completed by 31st Jan 2024.Nobody contacted me until on 6th Feb 2024 suddenly my manager informed that I am being released and all my working access have ben revoked and asked to exit all groups. They said that since I am having health troubles , therefore, company released me on 6th , but asked me to apply leaves for the remaining notice period. I misunderstood it and applied leaves thinking it's getting adjusted towards my notice period and applied leaves in the system , which eventually got rejected by my manager because of calculation issue by 9th feb. Therefore, technically, there was no open leaves applied by me in the system. And eventually I joined Org B on 12th Feb. My reporting manager from org A also sent an email stating about my exit from org A but did not mention date. On 12th when I asked my manager to resend email mentioning date , I realised that they have still kept me in the system and instead of adjusting leaves , they have put me in PTO in the system. I immediately informed my manager from org A that I have joined another company. I am willing to buy out as per clause 8, please make my exit date on 6th. This entire conversation dragged till 21st and then they sent an email stating that my exit date stands 21st. This ultimately became overlapping services. I have informed my current employer with all the email records I had. But I am scared as to what will happen if I loose the current job and don't get any future offer
