How can I recover my money

My friend taken total 16 laks from me in four months and in some parts And he told that he will return that certain parts of money in some duration like 3/6 months He said he will pay some profits till the duration every month He paid full payments every month till four months After that he started reducing the money in payments every month .. still I waited till 4 months So I got doubt he is doing some wrong So he caughted up then I spoke. With their parents They told that they will give total principle amount so out of 16 laks they given 7 laks after that his parents told they will give a property which is very waste We denied because we have given money to them by taking from various people.. So after that they changed the words now they are saying they paid total amount By calculating the amount what they had given 7 laks and the amount his son paid every month as a profits I have chattings, voice records of him and his parents , call record , And he cheated so many people like that We are not getting any idea how to recover money and I have one promissory note of 15 laks which is written by himself and he signed and as well as he put his thumb print also
