Unfortunate accident

Me and the other guy(aged 17) met with a two wheeler accident at a 4 way junction. Neither of us saw each other coming as I was coming from 6 o clock and the other person was coming from 9 o clock. We crashed and fell on either sides. I got okay but the other guy got his leg fractured. I booked the ambulance, boarded the injured guy safely to hospital and left, also lodged a police compliant. I was asked to come to station and submitted original documents(valid rc, insurance and DL), gava a written statement on how it occurred. After 4 days again I've been called to police station to get bail, completed MVI and got back all docs. Will thos proceed wmto court via section 279 and 337? I was informed by the police that the case will go to court but as I'm sure, this won't be taken to court by the injured person. I ride safe and also wore helmet whereas the other person don't have license, insurance. I reported this to my insurance company but just wanted to check if this will still go to court as I'm 100%sure that I rode safely without making any speeding.
