Cyber complaint

I have made a cyber crime complaint against a video call scammer who had made my video through video call though initially I did not know that it is a scammer. He recorded the video and morphed it in a wrong way and blackmailed me for money. After I made the complaint they stopped blackmailing me and I don't want to involve in police proceedings as the policeman told me that these are fake account handlers and catching them is difficult since everything they use are fake so I took back my complaint in the initial phase only no FIR was registered and the plain paper in which I have given the complaint I wrote for the withdrawal of complaint also it is showing complaint withdrawn in cyber crime portal. I was in govt job when this incident had happened and police verification has yet not been done by the department so my question is will there be any problem in my police verification? Will the department get to know about the details of the complaint? Whether the complaint I have made be mentioned in police verification report? Plz give a detailed reply because thinking about that gives me lot of tension.
