Mental harassment by immediate superior
I am working at a public sector bank. Recently transferred to Pune as Branch. Due to some family reasons and child care related issues and continuous misbehaviour of Regional manager, I resigned with 3 month's notice period. During notice period bank deducted my salary without any prior intimation and credited it my loan account. When I approached regional HR asking for reasons for same. After that I approached Head office HR and Union representative, they counselled me and suggested to withdraw resignation and go for sabbatical option given by bank for child care. Meanwhile there was no response from anyone regarding deduction from salary. Additionally many of my reimbursement were kept in hold as HRMS portal Available for claiming such reimbursement was never updated by HR. Enquiries about same went unanswered. These all harrassment added with personal factors pushed me to the verge of mental break down, anxiety and acute stress. I had to take medical consultation. During this medical leave also my superior kept on sending me summons and threating email regarding disciplinary actions and insisted to visit Bank's medical officer. Which I followed and Bank's medical officer also recommended continuation of medical treatment. When I rejoined after medical leave of 20 days, I withdrew my resignation and applied for Sabbatical leave for 1 year to take care of issues at personal end. As we need to follow proper channel, I sent my sabbatical application to regional HR, but it was declined multiple times requiring rectifications and documents which should available with Bank HR itself. Within this time period a new transfer order was issued and I was transferred to Nagpur. Do I have any legal recourse against such malpractice and mental harassment?
