Can we invoke section 420 against the employee who lied about his/her Previous experience and pay.

we are a Media Company, We hired a digital marketing intern, who on joining was terminated after 5 days, due to substandard performance and miss conduct. during her employment she engaged in defamatory actions by spreading false information about the company, thereby influencing other employees to avoid their responsibilities and negatively impacting their morale. after being terminated she continued to do so ,This resulted in decreased productivity and loss of two other interns who were performing well, for the company, further causing financial damage. while being hired, even after giving proper guidance and training she gave poor work output, on being asked to submit her work experience certificated and bank receipts from previous employer based on which she demanded a raise, she informed on call that she wont continue her employment. now she is demanding a payment for the 5 days she served the company during which co. suffered the loss of projects she worked on, as well as she committed defamation and resulted in loss of two interns. we want to take a strict legal action against her, under what section or law can we do so?
