Mother jewels - Rights

I ( Son) lost my mom a month back. I spent around 4 to 5 lacs for her medical expenses and final ritual. I was unaware that she has some jewels with her. But all these my younger sister and grand mother (mom's mom) know it, but they have not shared anything to when I was struggling to arrange money. Last week for a Pooja I went to my mom's house which is a rental and I was paying the rent since more than 7 years. During Pooja there was some words exchanged i slapped my sister so she give complained on me and police enquired and taken writen complaint. But that complaint is not only for i slapped her it is mainly for the jewellery ... Police had enquired and I explained everything. In the enquiry she said her chain, locket and one more jewel is hers and she needs that. I agreed to give it her back and she asked her share for other jewels i said I am ready to give but since you are asking for share on jewels take care of the share which I spent . Even police was agreed to that.. now my concern is I damn sure those jewels are not hers but still I am ready to give, secondly I was in the thought of giving all the jewels to her but due to her attitude and the police complaint I don't wanted to see her on a normal note.. they wer hiding the jewels and created a scene for this . Now what should I do ... Police said she will come for dividing the jewels .. should I give the jewels which she is saying her jewel and should I give her the share... Kindly advice
