Termination based on Underperformance
Hello recently i got terminated by a company because of my underperformance. I got fired after my 1 month in training and they told me it is because of my underperformance.
The underperformance is based on one month evaluation. The first 4 weeks they trained us and tested on 3 metrics. I have cleared 2 metrics outstandingly and failed to meet 1 metric. The required is 75% and it is considered by taking average of all tests under this metric and I received 72%
Then they gave us 4 days time and all those 4 days they made us retake all the tests and asked us to get 75% in all the tests and this time they didn't considered the average.All the people who signed the same documents got fired except 1 person she came to this team because of internal movement and she was given the exception.
After 5 days they fired me saying because of their company policy and they didn't gave me the result of my retakes before firing me. In my offer letter all that was stated is after 6 months of probation if they don't like my work they have the right to terminate me. About not meeting the metrics in training could lead to termination or other options will be considered was informed when I was in the training.
Can we consider my scenario as wrongful termination? If Yes, what is timeline to file a complaint?
