Illegal police custody

Dear Sir, my name is Kishor Pokhriyal , a resident of supertech appartment at crossing republik ghaziabad. on 3rdJune2023 there was an incident of Violent scuffles that happened with me by our tenant neighbour Dipendra singh who is involved in sex racketing . It happened due to an altercation with him and his son "dalla" by me. I went to the police with my complaint at the same time the Police pushed me to compromise and did not file a FIR on my complaint. Even I have been put into custody room for a night at thana by Crossing republik Thana police with Him too. I am not able to understand that a complaint was filed by me and I got beaten , in which police procedure they can put me on hawalat if there is no proper FIR against a victim . Police told me that there is a cross complaint against me by them too. Is this the correct procedure by law to put a victim in a hawalat as well?? No FIR was registered against me(victim) even though a victim was put in thana hawalat. Kindly help on this if police thana incharge can put a victim as well in the custody if there is a cross complain?? Thanks and regards, Kishor
