Company asking for recovery amount even when we were mot once told about serving notice period

Hii all I am jasleen kaur chopra, 20 years old, and i worked with a company FIS GLOBAL for 1.5 months, in which 1 month was training period. When i got on board i realised I couldn’t deal with the voice process because it was too much but i decided to continue if for two months atleast. But on the 15th day of being on board my mother had to go through a breast surgery and i had to be there with her. I thought that maybe i should leave now and i talked about my resignation to my manager who agreed and told me to send her a resignation e-mail. I resigned on feb 17th and i was told to return my company assets the very next day. When i asked the manager when will i het my pay for the days i worked she said after 45 days uou shall receive it. Everytime i talked to her she told me to wait for 45 days and i will get my pay for those 17 days i worked. But after almost two months I received the e-mail to pay my recovery amount of ₹8550, and nothing about my money which i was supposed to get was mentioned there. I can confirm they did nớt mention once about the notice period to me once, nothing about the recovery amount too, otherwise i would have never made this mistake. Why would i leave my deserving money and instead pay them? The same thing happened with two more employees who didn’t serve the notice period too. How can all three employees make the same mistake I don’t understand? It was work from home and they did not mention once about notice period even if it was there in offer letter. It was there responsibility as managers, as ị especially was working for the very first time. I don’t understand what to do anymore, please help me
