Accident between car and bike

On 30th Jan 2022, in a signal which was going from amber to red, I was in a car going to left and stop but at that time a biker from left side who had to go straight hit on my car's left side just above the front wheel and fell. I took him to a nearby hospital as the public suggested to go for the one near, the biker asked me to take him to an Ortho hospital. We went to the nearby clinic first and there he was given a pain killer injection, I paid for it and got the prescription so that it can be given to ortho doctor. I then took him to ortho hospital, where doctor checked and said knee fracture is there and screw needs to be fixed with a month bed rest. he told he will go with his own insurance (HDFC) and confirmed to doctor to file as Slipped and fell. We exchanged numbers and I left. The next day on 31st Jan I received a call from a person, who claimed that he is brother of the biker told me that they have moved to another hospital which is 20kms away from the one he was admitted to, asking them to file a medico legal case and If I get a call from police harassing me, I should call him. I thought am going to be given as witness and said ok. Next day on 1st Jan another person claimed to be the biker's mother calls me and said that it was a huge surgery for 4 hours - Bone was crushed (car didn't climb on him, his own bike fell on his leg), Nerves got damaged and 6 months bed rest is required. She asked me to come to that hospital to meet and speak. I really do not know how I am at wrong here, I have clearly indicated that am moving left and it was a red signal so I was not fast too. I do not know if they have really filed a case. Should I report to police station on my own or Wait for how they are proceeding. I do not want to compensate from my pocket for not my mistake, if at all I am ok to help them claim from my vehicle insurance third party compensation. Please do let me know how to proceed.
