Non acceptance of resignation in Bank
I am working in a Govt bank since 9 yrs and presently branch manager in a branch for last 1 year and now have resigned after got selected in another job. The resignation was submitted on 03/08/2022 through mail with reasons mentioned therein. Now it has become 130 days but Bank is not giving me relieving letter/NOC and I have to join in the new job. Bank has conducted internal audit in the branch 2 months 7 days after submission of my resignation and audit report submitted on 17th October. In the meantime I was deputed to other branch from 14th October to 24th November from where I repeatedly reminded my HR about my resignation and asked about the status. They verbally told me that you have to close your branch audit. I was instructed to go back to my branch for audit closure. So I joined back to the branch on 25th November to rectify audit irregularities and do compliance. 2 days after this Asst Manager was instructed to go other branch on deputation and branch keys again handed over to me. Now I feel difficult to complete audit related works with full day work of branch and without any support. The first thing is that they have done branch audit too late and asked me to complete the compliance after 110 days. Bank has not completed all these procedures, if was required, within the notice period of 90 days. Now what I will do if i failed to do audit closure. How will I join in the new job. Where is my fault if bank has not completed all procedures in 90 days. There is no disciplinary action pending against me.
