Epf wages ceiling upt0 15,000/- per month
I need clarification on the PF Wages limit, which is 15000/- per month at present.
Member Basic wages + DA is more than 15,000/- e.g. 16,506/- per month and in the month of September -22, members get 29 days wages due to one day without pay ( LWP) . Here Basic wages earned # 16,506/30*29 days = 15,956/-.
We have paid EPF Contribution on the base of EPF Wages limit upto 15,000/- in that particular month.
15,000/- ( PF Ceiling ) /30*29 = 14,500/-. Here PF wages are considered 14,500/- due to loss of one days wages and PF Contribution paid @ 12% of Earned EPF Wages of Rs. 14500*12% = Rs.1740/-
Above contribution done according to PF Rules. Here some one clients advised to contribute PF Contribution on 15,000/- instead of 14,500/-
We are paying PF Contribution always on 15,000/- but in case of without pay leave contribution done according EPF Wages ceiling upto 15,000/- only ( 15,000/ particular month * no of payable days)
if we goes according client then there is no value of PF wages limit and how can we track in case of loss of wages due to absent and without pay leave etc.
Please give me some advice .
