Rules for planting trees/plants near home compound in India

As my home was outer to city, its a corner plot, i planted a banana tree near my compound. On there is already a cctv camera was fixed, we were advised by our area association to change the place of the plants due to coverage of cctv so we shifted the plants to another place. For example if the plants are in north we moved to south so the coverage of cctv is visible and cleared. Which the changed place is in our compound side only and far 4feets from neighbors. My neighbor forcing us to don't plant here. They threading us to take it or they remove it. They argued with us if the plant is there insects and reptiles will come .What can i do now. Is they point is correct. But they plant same banana tree and plants in the front of house. I don't have any other place to plant trees. And one thing the road is 23 feet. All are planted near house compound only which is in street road. Remaining there is 16feet(plants planted both sides of the road) of road. None of the neighborhood were complained us that plants are disturbing while driving. As my immediate neighbor forcing us for this reason. Is this correct.
