Company denied to release after giving proper notice period

I am working in a company in Kolkata where has one month notice period during probation period and after probation it will be two months. I still not confirm and in probation period and quit my job from the company due to some reasons and give one month notice but manager denied to give release and said that two months notice period is required. But I still not received any confirmation letter or mail from the company HR. My terms and conditions in the appointment letter give below. "During the probation or extended probation period, either the Company or you may terminate your contract of employment by giving one months' notice or one months' salary which is based on annual fixed compensation, in lieu of notice, to the other party, subject to the release date being approved by the Company. The Company reserves the right to terminate your employment by giving you compensation equivalent to one months' salary which is based on annual fixed compensation, in lieu of the notice period. After confirmation of your service at the Company, the contract of employment is terminable by either the Company or by you, by giving two months' notice in writing to the other, without assigning any reasons thereof. The Company reserves the right to pay or recover from you, two months' salary which is based on annual fixed compensation, in lieu of the notice period, subject to the release date being approved by the Company." For Probation: "You will be under the probation for 6 months and the confirmation will be strictly on the review of your performance during this period. Unsatisfactory result of the review will lead to the extension of the confirmation, which will be for another 3 months in subject to further review and failure in which will lead to the termination of your service." How can I take legal step against company for that.
