My husband and his family didn't allow me get inside house

We were married in2005, got divorced in2015. After that again with mutual consent and both families approval we came in relationship again in 2019. This marriage is not registered. I took this decision thinking as he has changed and will give me good life as partner and he started contacting me over chat Nd in person as we used meet in some spiritual talks. Now repeatedly he started quarrelling and asking me to leave the house whenever he gets angry. After too much of tolerance I came out and live for 4 days in my maternal home. Now when I want to get my things from his house, he didn't allow me get inside his flat and took only few items if mine and kept outside and he and his family is not allow me to go inside his house. They denied to give my academic documents and passport. But with much force I was able to get it. Is this legally correct. Don't we have right to go inside house? As our remarriage is not registered, will this stand in court as they are saying they will move legally.
