Company file a case against me after breaking bond.
Hi, i have signed a 2 year bond with a company and then i have some medical emergencies in my family. My mother is already on bed rest due to surgery and my father is going to had a surgery. My company never provided me a leave during my mother's surgery. How can I expect that they will provide me this time. So i email that i will be on leave for 15-20 days and then i called them that i can not continue with them due to my medical emergencies.
I worked there around 9 months. I take care of my family for approx 2 months and then i joined a new company, i joined here on another profile and never joined their competitor. They send me legal notice with amount of 13.5 lakh, 10 times higher then mentioned in bond amount. How can i pay that much money when i was working there with only 16000 per month. I accepted the notice, but I was afraid and not send any notice in answer. But i send mail to the company director on behalf of that notice that this amount is not resealable and my family facing medical emergencies and this is a covid period, this is not a solution.
Then they do not reply on that email and after 6 months of that email they send a summon from the civil court with stating around 4.5 lakh losses.
I also mentioned that all the project related information i already shared with my senior, junior and project manager.
What should i do in this situation, i do not have that much amount to pay.
