Can employer force me to serve full notice period

According to the employer Contract of Appointment Clause : Termination of Employment After confirmation, employee services can be terminated by giving Two months notice period on either side without assigning any reason. Employment can be terminated by the Company without any notice or payment of any kind in lieu of notice in the following cases: Any act of indiscipline, insubordination, irregularity in attendance, misappropriation, malpractice, parting of vital information of confidential nature, violation on your part of any of the company rules or absenting from duties without information for more than eight days. I have got a new job offer from a new organisation willing to wait for 30 days but not more than that. There-after I resigned mentioning my request of last working day as 30th day from the date of the resignation The present company has accepted my resignation in writing but directed me to serve full 60 days notice period. I have requested my management for an early release but they are insisting that I serve full notice period on pretext of being a critical resource. I have offered them to give my time bound hand over of all my primary and secondary task within the 30 days time frame but my manager is adamant of me serving the full notice period of Two Months. The responses of my manager has changed 360 degree immediately after their retention plan did not yield any favourable result. Being humble and sincere in approach seems to be disadvantageous. Can the company force me to serve full notice period? Can the company abscond me from the services and with-hold my reliving letter and experience letter? What legal options do i have? Please Advice
