Correction in Degree Certificate is pending with University since 1 year

I am Amitkumar Shah, former MSU student pass out 2003 (as Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, Dept. of Applied Maths). It appear to me when a Visa authority of a certain country raised an issue about discrepancy among Marksheets and Degree Certificate. The nomenclature on Degree Certificate is: Diploma in Computer Application The nomenclature on Marksheet is: P. G. Diploma in Computer Application When I approached University main office for this issue they provided me with a Temporary special type certificate stating that the degree is equivalent to Post Graduate. Also, a fresh degree certificate will be issued. I already applied for the corrected one. but it has been almost 1 year since last January 2021. The University is replaying that the issue is pending with the next Senate meeting and no certain date is fixed yet for that meeting. So It has been a very long time and I am not seeing it will be solved in nearest future. Maybe you can help me to let me know the exact process and quick solution.
