Caste Validity

Respected Sir's/Madam's I have obc caste certificate (non creamy layer) obtained in 2010 when I was in 10th (private school), from 11th onwards I have utilized obc certificate for reservation till my BE graduation (engg. Complete in 2016), during 12th I applied for caste Validity but was pending due 1960 caste proof documents. At time of Engineering admission I filled a preforma that I will submit Validity asap, I got 1st year Engineering admission as obc category. During 2nd & 3rd year college asked me for Validity or to provide in writing why it's pending till then my admission college told was provisional , I took letter from college n produced in from of my caste Validity scrutiny committee in return they gave me letter that the scrutiny is under process both the time, I gave same in my college. During 4th year I relocated from my district (where the Validity is pending) to other state. In 2016 I completed my graduation n got degree from university. As I went to college to collect no dues they told your Validity is pending. I have all my educational documents collected from college, but have no migration or TC. Now then I have not applied for further education due to financial issues. Now in 2022 I want to appear for govt exam, can I apply from general category and if selected in merit from general category for govt job, will it make any issue at documents verification or further promotions. And my degree certificate is secure and valid.
