I borrowed some money from a private financer.

I borrowed 10 lakh rupees from a private financer. He charges 4% interest per month which means, I have to pay him 40,000 rs every month. From past few months, i am unable to pay him interest. Its been 2 years since I am paying interest. If I calculate, I have paid more than 50% of principal amount. Now, the financer and his wife come to house every alternate day. I am very irrirated and stressed. My family is very stressed. I have two small kids and my wife's peace is ruined. I can't focus on anything. Now, I don't have money to pay him. There's no solution available. I have to face him every alternate day at my house till midnight. He doesn't leave the place and says that he will bring his entire family in my house and warns to not leave untill I don't pay him. My wife break into tears. Then, he leaves saying he will come again if I don't pay him. I will definietly pay him once my property is sold. Is there any legal solution to this? Is there any way that the paid interest is adjusted with principle amount? "Thers's all the paperwork done in legal way." Is there any way he don't come to my house?
