Agriculture land in pocession by others

Our ancestral property of 2.5 acres was in my uncles name who is agnate,(records held from 1966) after my father dividing from joint family in the year 1980 ,it fell in to our share(which verbaly accepted). The same bit we got it by registered sale deed on our fathers name in this year Feb 2021,got mutated and having recorded in passbook.All these years my uncle was receiving all Govt previlages Raitu bhandu etc till date.The scheduled land was patta in my uncles name. He used to get it cultivated by giving on and off (unofficial without any document) lease to a person in same village.He belongs to SC community. During this period this person managed to get his name recorded in pahani as purchaser.(where there is no proof).which we came to know recently. Now, after registering in my fathers name when we went to prepare land for cultivation, this third party are objecting, claiming as it was sold/purchased from my uncle in lieu of rendering labour services.Can we approach honourable court, does he has right to claim this property. we are in sensitive situation to counter this issue since they are from other community. How does the law support. Is there any act or sections to quote for our stand.Kindly advice. Property is in Telangana state.
