How to get a legal for harassment in the name of disciplinary proceedings during my service as a Pro

Dear Sir/Madam I served as a faculty for 23 years in a government run University in Tamil Nadu. To describe what happened 1. By early 2019, a new administration under a new VC took over the University governance. Till that point of time, I was a worshipped teacher and a researcher of the University, with a lot of accomplishments in my carreer including setting up new departments, laboratories, field facilities, new education programs and bringing in lot of funds and also serving as a good teacher of Science. But with in a week's time the new admin took over the problem started. By that time, I was serving as head of a new department which I accomplished. 2. I was suddenly transferred as a Professor under my reporting boss Director of a Centre. My Director suddenly called me without any prior information for an enquiry where yet another director was there. I was threatened of severe punishments unless I give it in writing that I had transferred illegally some intellectual property to a private organisation during 2013. This was totally imaginative and baseless for which I never conceeded They tortured me for more than 10 hours in three sessions. 3. As this unusual torture continued, I applied medical leave for 3 months. Subsequently in a months time, I got a letter at my home that I had attend a fact finding committee as an enquiry measure. I attended that meeting and I was given a questionnaire in which I was asked a number of questions which were designed to find fault in me than being neutral. I answered all of them with confidence as I was clear I didn't commit any such unfair acts in my service. 3. After a week's time to my shock, I received a letter from my employer that I was suspended from service. 4. This really had a bad impact on my physical and mental health and left me sleepless for many nights. I decided to go on VRS and I applied for it through a letter to the Registrar. It was refused with the reason of disciplinary proceedings. 5. Almost two months passed and I was continuing my medical leave due to mental agony and suddenly I received a charge memo where there were repeat questions as that I had been issued by the fact finding committee I gave similar strong replies with all scientific proof to prove my innocence. 5. Suddenly after three months of silence, I received a letter from my employer that my suspension was revoked. 6. No action or any proceedings for 12 months except that I was asked by my immediate boss to join duty which I refused as I was sick and insisted that my VRS request should be considered. 7. This kind of tortures went of for 20 months and suddenly on a day I received a letter that I am being let off. from the disciplinary action with a choice of VRS. As a result I applied and got my VRS as I do not like to continue as I lost my image and character. . BUT IS THERE ANY LEGAL OPTIONS FOR ME TO FIGHT SO THAT THIS KIND OF UNFAIR ACTIONS NEVER HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE.
